Hands To Heart Gifts is built with care and the vision of sharing creativity that brings people together. The items in our current and upcoming collections are handmade designs created to bring more joy to your life! It’s my privilege to share the first collection in Make A Scene. Enjoy some time to “just be” by enjoying the moments as you sit and create alone or create a unique keepsake from time spent together with the people in your life.

I’m Bridget — a dreamer, a notebook wielding creator and seeker of adventure. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, I spent much of my 20’s traveling, exploring and setting roots in Arizona. I spent time at the University of Toledo obtaining degrees in Education, Spanish, and English. Though I anticipated those degrees would lead me into Education, my desire for something new led me to a career in marketing and sales. Then came love, marriage and kids. Wanting to devote as much time raising them as possible, I left my job and took up part-time bartending in the evenings. Bartending connects you to all walks of life and the blessing of learning about different professions, different lifestyles, different aspects of this beautiful world…you are privileged to see what life really is, not just for you, but through the lense of others. One commonality has always reined: togetherness. Despite our complaints, we love each other. We need each other. And we are eager to have real moments we can share.

The spark to start Hands To Heart Gifts came to me while I was sitting at the playground with my youngest son. As parents, our hobbies and passions often become intertwined with our children’s. This was a time period where they enjoyed learning how to draw different common things like food, animals, things that go and how to write their ABC’s. As mentioned, I always carry my notebook to jot ideas and creations and so at the park, I began to sketch a few things to draw and create with them…and from this, Make A Scene was developed. Our first creation was a winter scene with a snowman which you’ll see in our upcoming holiday collection. An artist I am not which is one of the reasons Make A Scene was so appealing to me. With the skillful touch of our co-artist Suzanne Pender, Make A Scene is crafted with an artist’s touch in the base piece artwork that allows people, like you and me, to create something beautiful with the ones in our lives.
